Hello I am new to this community. I had long hair my whole life until I was DXed with Ewings Sarcoma, a couple years ago. Chemo made all my hair fall out, and for awhile I was rather uncomfortable about it. Hoewver now that I have been done with treatment for awhile and my hair has been growing back I can't bring myself to grow it out. I have to keep it shaved. The down side is I get cold easier now, especially with new england winters Current Mood:  thirsty |

The New Guy
I'm new to the community and new to being bald. I've been fearing going bald for years, so I decided to attack teh enemy before it could attack me. At first I was worried I might have abnormal bumps or scars or I might look like Sloth from The Goonies. I started out with my beard trimmer (only thing available) and it sheared the hair off very easily. After I finished with the electric, I broke out the shaving cream and a Schick Extreme III. Gave it a once over, cleaned it up in the shower, and I'm quite pleased with the results. Chrome Domes Unite!!!!! |
